Torah Portion Bereshit & Noach
Genesis 1:1 – 11:32
This year we will be going through the Torah portion cycle looking for themes which occur in each Torah portion that recurs throughout the rest of Scripture with a special focus on connecting them to the Apostolic Writings (New Testament). Each portion will vary in length, but most will be ~30 minutes. This first one is a double portion because my hectic schedule after Sukkot and because the first two portions are connected a lot thematically.
In these first portions, we will investigate the themes of creation and deconstruction of creation. These themes will recur in the creation of the nation of Israel and will be traced to the resurrected Messiah Yeshua being the firstborn of the new creation.
