Torah Portion Sh’mini
Leviticus 9:1 – 11:47
This year we will be going through the Torah portion cycle looking for themes which occur in each Torah portion that recurs throughout the rest of Scripture with a special focus on connecting them to the Apostolic Writings (New Testament).
In Sh’mini, Rico and I discuss Mark 7 and Acts 10 to determine if the laws of Leviticus 11 actually were abrogated, as is often claimed. We also discuss the role of the priests in the application of the blood of the sacrifices.
