Torah Portion B’Haalotcha
Numbers 8:1 – 12:16
This year we will be going through the Torah portion cycle looking for themes which occur in each Torah portion that recurs throughout the rest of Scripture with a special focus on connecting them to the Apostolic Writings (New Testament).
In B’haalotcha, we will discuss how God desired to fill all of Israel with His spirit, but only the 70 elders plus a few others received the Spirit. This is connected with Acts 2 where the restored Israel receives the Spirit of God on Shavuot/Pentecost.
