Torah Portion Balak

Numbers 22:2 – 25:9

This year we will be going through the Torah portion cycle looking for themes which occur in each Torah portion that recurs throughout the rest of Scripture with a special focus on connecting them to the Apostolic Writings (New Testament).

In Balak, we will look at the verses in the Apostolic Scriptures that reference Balaam. The doctrine of Balaam is one of division; Israel cannot be defeated from the outside, and so the Enemy seeks to cause internal division and discord in order to destroy us. Yeshua taught that the only way for the world to believe that he was sent by the Father is for us to be one. Which way will we choose?
