Torah Portion Nitzavim/Vayelech
Deuteronomy 29:10 – 31:30
This year we will be going through the Torah portion cycle looking for themes which occur in each Torah portion that recurs throughout the rest of Scripture with a special focus on connecting them to the Apostolic Writings (New Testament).
In Nitzavim/Vayelech, I am joined by Matthew Vander Els as we continue the discussion about how Israel in Yeshua’s day understood themselves to be living under the curse of continuing exile found in Deuteronomy 28-30 and Leviticus 26. We discuss the impact that this has on our understanding of Yeshua’s mission and how the prophecies proclaimed fulfilled by him are more often than not tied to the promise of restoration; the New and Greater Exodus.
