Torah Portion Ha’azinu

Deuteronomy 32:1-52

This year we will be going through the Torah portion cycle looking for themes which occur in each Torah portion that recurs throughout the rest of Scripture with a special focus on connecting them to the Apostolic Writings (New Testament).

In Ha’azinu, we will connect the covenant lawsuit witnessed against Israel in Deuteronomy 32’s Song of Moses to the wicked generation that Yeshua warned in the first century. We will see how those who did not heed the warning of Yeshua faced the consequences of the covenant lawsuit when the Zealot sect rebelled against Rome ending in the destruction of Jerusalem in 70AD and the slaughter of many Jews.
