You, fine disciple of Yeshua, are called to be a light to the world.
This ancient calling of the Hebrew prophets to the people of Israel was reiterated by Yeshua himself to his disciples:
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a basket. Instead, they put it on a lampstand so it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men so they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”
How can we be a light to the world?
By doing what Yeshua command us: feeding the poor, clothing the naked, visiting the sick, caring for the imprisoned.
With this divine imperative in mind, we invite you to join Tabernacle of David each month as we volunteer at Feed My Starving Children each month. Families welcomed; there’s jobs for ages 6 and up.
