For our weekly apologetics meeting, here we interview Dr. Michael Strauss, who is is an experimental particle physicist who has been professor at the University of Oklahoma in Norman since 1995. Dr. Strauss received a Ph. D. in experimental particle physics from the University of California, Los Angeles. He has done research at the Stanford Linear Accelerator, the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, and now at CERN. Dr. Strauss will discuss the evidence for the design of the universe and what is called “The Fine- Tuning” argument. The Fine Tuning Argument has been heavily debated in academic articles/journals. We will discuss some of the talking points of this specific design argument.
