For our weekly online apologetics meeting, we discussed what is called “The Problem with the Old Testament.” We discuss some of the reasons Christians place little value on the Old Testament. Some Christians struggle with violence in the Old Testament, the issue of reading the New Testament back into the Old Testament, overemphasizing typology, and the relationship between the Torah and how we apply it today.
