New Music: Messianic Jewish Alliance of Israel – Zimrat 2020

Shalom fine Chavah listeners,

Fresh Messianic Jewish music from Israel now playing Chavah:

Various Artists – Zimrat 2020 זמרת

This is a really special album, friends. It’s a live performance by Israeli Messianic songwriters as assembled by the Messianic Jewish Alliance of Israel (MJAI).

Artists include (take a deep breath):

Yochai Tamir Gustavo Moguillansky Efrat Gerlich Rosalind Hershkovitz Dvir Bousi Shimon Gefen Anni Milburn Hanna Spaander Zipporah Bennett Elyakim Levy Keren Silver Dikla Oshrat Nickalls Bat El Schucman Yunas Alvre Lana Lizorkin Yona Insulani Or Gerlich Elad Shevach Nadia Gefen Osnat Ben Natan Thais Schucman Alexander Fishman Tanya Kadin Shiri Regev Elad Shevach Ludmila Lemeshkina Tina Karkiyeinan (phew!) By the long list of artists and songwriters, you may have guessed this is a HUGE album! Weighing in at 53 songs, it’s the largest single album we have on the station.

The recordings are live and raw without editing or mastering, but I think there’s something beautiful and original in that. 😎

Here’s how the MJAI describes this album,

We are delighted to present to the Body of Messiah in Israel songs presented at the Music Conference for new Messianic songs at Moshav Yad Hashmona, February 20-21, 2020.

The Music Conference, held every other year for more than 2 decades, gives a platform and an opportunity for composers and songwriters from all over the land to present their new songs publicly and in a proper framework.

By the mercies of the Lord, we managed to hold the conference almost in the last minutes before COVID-19 pandemic fell upon us with all its restrictions and prohibitions.

These live recorded MP3s from the conference enable a proper distribution of the new songs to the Messianic congregations in Israel. There is also a demand and enthusiasm among believers around the world to obtain a digital or hard copy of the songbook and the MP3s in order to be able to worship the God of Israel and the Lord Yeshua in Hebrew.

Our prayer is that this will indeed be an effective tool for learning the new songs in the Messianic congregations in Israel and any other places in the world, so that these songs will be a blessing and encouragement to the believers, and bring Glory to Go our Father and the Lord Yeshua the Messiah, our Savior.

Awesome! Let’s amplify these tunes to Israel and the world for the glory of the King – give them a listen, dear Chavah fans. I think you’ll be encouraged.

You can purchase this album over at mjai.co.il . You can also donate to Messiah’s Music Fund , which gets distributed to these artists and all the artists on Chavah.

Enjoy these tunes for the Lord, fine Chavah listeners!

James Block’s worship is particularly stirring to me. His heart and passion for the Lord come through in his vocals, Biblical-lyrics set to beautiful piano-led melodies with rising choruses.

Block’s music has been enjoyed by many thousands on Chavah, with songs like Psalm 18, Overcome , Psalm 80, Restoration , Psalm 133, Precious Oil , Daniel 9, Prayer . all highly-ranked by you, the Chavah listeners.

New music: Aromem

Shalom fine Chavah listeners. We’ve got some new music on the station that I think you’ll love:

Aromem

This is a new band formed by Messianic music veteran David Martin, whose solo music already graces Chavah, along with a friend of the station, Jonathan, who has contributed in many ways to Chavah over the last year.

In their own words, here’s Aromem:

Aromem is a band comprised of David Martin (leader) and several relatives. All songs so far have been composed by David Martin. Our music aims to strike a combination of the modern contemporary/messianic style with a bit the native American style instruments and rhythm.

Give them a listen and up vote if you like them, friends.

You can purchase their music over at Bandcamp .

New music: HaYovel – Hallel

Shalom fine Chavah fans,

New music now playing on Chavah for your edification:

HaYovel – Hallel

This new album covers the Hallel psalms, Psalm 113-118, in Hebrew and in English. These psalms are traditionally recited at Passover; the Gospels record Yeshua/Jesus also singing the Hallel after the Passover meal . While these psalms are special for Passover season, I think they’re beautiful and powerful in their own right, good for us at any time and season. 😊

HaYovel is a group of Christians who volunteer on the vineyards in Judea and Samaria, blessing Israel and the Jewish people. You can volunteer with them . I met these folks at Hebraic Music Fest the other month, and they’re genuine disciples of Yeshua. Good people.

Support HaYovel: volunteer with them in Israel , purchase their hand-crafted in Israel merchandise , and buy this album . You can also donate to Messiah’s Music Fund , which supports all the musicians on Chavah, including HaYovel.

Enjoy, fine Chavah fans! And shabbat shalom.

New music: Robbie Cummings – If My People

To celebrate US Independence Day, we’re adding 4 new albums to Chavah Messianic Radio. These new albums are produced by artists who performed at the recent Proclaim Hebraic Music Fest – which was amazing and you need to come next year. ☺

Here’s the fourth:

Robby Cummings – If My People

At Proclaim Music Fest the other week, I found Robby’s praise to be stirring, intimate, God-glorifying. He led me closer to God through his praises. I hope this album will do the same for you, fine Chavah fans.

A bit about Robby:

Robby is an anointed singer/songwriter and musician whose call is to lead worship. With an overwhelming sense of adoration, Robby will bring you into the presence of the Father where healing, restoration, peace, and joy flow freely. For believers with ears to hear, Robby ignites a passion for the secret place of the Most High God.

For those whose hearts may have grown cold or distant, Robby’s voice rings with a holy calling of the Spirit, crying out, “come back home.” Robby and his band minister to God’s people through inspirational song, instrumental spontaneity and the spoken word.

Robby’s Native American ancestry has also impacted his music and ministry. With Cherokee lineage on his mother’s side and Lumbee lineage from his father’s side, Robby carries a special passion for his heritage. Robby and his wife Lindsy have led worship at numerous Native American gatherings in cities and tribal communities across the United States and Canada. He is known for carrying the sound of the redeemed warrior Bride of Yeshua with much affection and zeal, anticipating His soon return.

You can support Robby Cummings by purchasing his music at robbycummings.org . You can also donate to Messiah’s Music Fund , which distributes funds to all the musicians on Chavah.

Enjoy the fresh music for Messiah, fine Chavah fans. And happy Independence Day!

Bailey Family Ministry – Northern Star

To celebrate US Independence Day, we’re adding 4 new albums to Chavah Messianic Radio. These new albums are produced by artists who performed at the recent Proclaim Hebraic Music Fest – which was amazing and you need to come next year. ☺

Here’s the third:

Bailey Family Ministry – Northern Star

I had the pleasure of worshiping with the Bailey family the other week at Proclaim, and they are a blast! They have joyful reggae takes on classic Messianic songs, smooth and soothing a cappellas, fresh takes on old hymns, dancing, beautiful harmonies. I really enjoyed praising with these folks.

A little about them:

We are a family ministry dedicated to walking out the Father’s purpose

in our lives. Having embarked long ago on this quest, our mission is

not complete until every beacon we have been sent forth to light has

been kindled. Therefore, we travel far and wide to minister in his

name in passion and in truth through the art of our music, and words

of our heart. Being a family of ten, we’ve found harmony to be a

foundational essence in our music, as well as our life together. It is

our sincere hope that we can reach you to inspire in your heart that

which the Lord has placed there and draw you to a closer walk with

him. Whether you’re a skip away or from distant lands, BFM would love

to hear from you anytime, so feel free to drop us an email at

baileyfamilyministry8@gmail.com

and tell us what you’re thinking.

New music: The Nesbitts – Sweet Surrender

To celebrate US Independence Day, we’re adding 4 new albums to Chavah Messianic Radio. These new albums are produced by artists who performed at the recent Proclaim Hebraic Music Fest – which was amazing and you need to come next year. ☺

Here’s the second:

The Nesbitts – Sweet Surrender

The Nesbitts are a beautiful family that serve the Lord through music, playing at churches, Messianic congregations, and even Messianic Jewish conferences. 😊 I had the pleasure of meeting Scott Nesbitt and his family, and had a joyful time praising with them a few weeks ago at Proclaim Hebraic Music Fest. They’ve got a unique sound and a real joyful heart.

With ancestral origins from Scotland and Ireland nearly a millennia ago, the Nesbitts and their music ultimately migrated to America and settled in the hills of Tennessee where, today, their Old World heritage continues to shape their songs.

The Nesbitts’ debut album Sweet Surrender weaves a tapestry of musical influences that include Americana, Country Gospel, Scottish-Irish Roots and Messianic Mountain Soul to give the listener a rich and authentic worship experience.

Fine Chavah fans, please support The Nesbitts: you can purchase their music at www.thenesbitts.org . You can also donate to Messiah’s Music Fund , which distributes funds to all the musicians on Chavah.

Enjoy the fresh music for Messiah, fine Chavah fans. And happy Independence Day!
