New music: HaYovel – Blessed is the King Who Comes

To celebrate US Independence Day, we’re adding 4 new albums to Chavah Messianic Radio. These new albums are produced by artists who performed at the recent Proclaim Hebraic Music Fest – which was amazing and you need to come next year. ☺

Here’s the first:

HaYovel – Blessed is the King Who Comes

HaYovel is a ministry truly unique in the entire world: they are a group of believers who volunteer to serve in the vineyards of Israel. They bring over Christians, Hebrew Roots folks, Messianic Jewish folks and simply serve the people of Israel through agriculture. Check out their ministry here at ServeIsrael.com – and consider volunteering with them to serve God and the Jewish people.

Chavah has played HaYovel’s Psalms of Ascent album for a few years now, as well as HaYovel’s Restoration single . All of these have been well-received by you fine Chavah listeners.

I had the pleasure of meeting Brayden (Ben Zion) Waller, his wife Tali, and their beautiful family at Proclaim the other week. I found them to be utterly genuine and sincere, holy people of God. And with true hearts for praise. Love these folks. Brayden gave me this album with permission to play it on Chavah. Thanks, Wallers!

Fine Chavah fans, please support HaYovel: you can purchase their music at hayovel.com , you can volunteer to serve with them on vineyards in the heart of Israel. You can also donate to Messiah’s Music Fund , which distributes funds to all the musicians on Chavah.

Enjoy the fresh music for Messiah, fine Chavah fans. And happy Independence Day.

New music: Paul Wilbur – We Call Your Name

Shalom to you all, fine Chavah fans. I’m glad to announce fresh new Messianic music on Chavah:

Paul Wilbur – We Call Your Name

Certainly Paul needs no introduction. His music is perhaps the best well-known in all the Messianic Jewish movement, with many of his songs sung by congregations every week around the world.

A pioneer of Messianic music with the group Israel’s Hope in the 1980s, Wilbur is still making fresh music for the King today. His music is played more than any other artist on Chavah. And you, the Chavah listeners, have ranked his songs as some of the highest on the station.

This new EP, We Call Your Name, marks his 16th (!) album on Chavah, and features 5 new songs and collaboration with other Messianic artists. I think – nah, I’m certain – you’ll enjoy these fresh new tunes, fine Chavah fans.

You can purchase Wilbur’s new album over at WilburMinistries.com . You can also donate to Wilbur and all the musicians on Chavah via Messiah’s Music Fund . Thanks for supporting Messiah’s musicians.

Enjoy the music for Messiah, and shabbat shalom friends!

New music: Lev Shelo – Dry Ground

Shalom fine Chavah fans.

We’ve added some fresh new Messianic music to the station for your holy pleasure:

Lev Shelo – Dry Ground

Lev Shelo describes this new album:

“Dry Ground”, the third Lev Shelo release in 6 years, is a beautifully written, performed, mixed and mastered project, highlighting the band’s growing skills as musicians and songwriters. Of the twelve songs featured, nine were written by founding members, Mark Keller and Corry Bell, and highlight their own personal experiences in their travels, their lives and worship of our King all over the world.

The title, “Dry Ground”, captures the reality of living in our world today; sometimes a very dry and barren place of loneliness, suffering and despair. In the midst of all this, God is there to love, restore and rescue us through faith in His son, Yeshua (Jesus), the messiah of the world.

Through personal tragedy of her own, Corry has penned two power ballads to the musical genius of Mark’s compositions. These songs, along with the other ten, prove to be powerful testimonies of the restorative, life-giving love of the God of the universe.

Enjoy the album? You can purchase it over at levshelo.com . You can also donate to Messiah’s Music Fund , which supports Lev Shelo and all musicians on Chavah.

Enjoy this fresh new music for the King, fine Chavah fans! Have a holy shabbat, my friends.
